Inuktun Services Ltd. took its show on the road August 25-26 to the Cox Convention Centre in Tulsa, Oklahoma, venue for the annual Pipeline and Energy Expo.
With more than 300 exhibitors and 2,000 attendees, the event is an ideal opportunity for Inuktun's expert team to connect with gas and oil industry leaders to showcase products such as the Spectrum 120 HD™ camera, the Versatrax 100 Vertical Crawler™, the new MaggUT™, and the Versatrax 100™ inline system.
Oklahoma is the fourth largest producer of natural gas and fifth largest producer of crude oil in the United States. The location offers numerous advantages, such as a central location for manufacturing and service for pipelines. Because it's a state where many pipelines meet, it also has a wide range of companies that specialize in pipeline replacement and repairs.
Wade Leach, Inuktun’s new U.S. national sales manager, and Jeff Christopherson, Inuktun’s technical sales manager, hosted booth No. 522 at the show. While our well-known product lines captured plenty of attention and interest, none stole the show like the new MaggUT™.
“This new inspection crawler really seemed to click with many of the gas and oil professionals who visited us,” said Leach. “For a lot of the work done on the pipelines, this crawler is exactly what the industry has been waiting for.”
With integrated UT scanning capability, the MaggUT™ is ideal for detecting visible and non-visible cracks in critical pipeline joints in high-volume lines.
On Aug. 29th, the same products were showcased in Houston as part of the official launch of Houston-based Inuktun InCommand Robotics, LLC, Inuktun’s wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary headed by Leach.
