SNC-Lavalin Suppliers Day Recap

NanoMag on Steel Surface

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO —

Inuktun’s booth at the annual SNC-Lavalin Suppliers Day in Mississauga on September 24th drew plenty of attention by attendees thanks in part to our unique magnetic crawlers on display.

Bill Tarant, Inuktun’s eastern Canada representative, said the crawlers attracted engineers and politicians alike.

“It was a busy morning at the show with candidates for the federal election stopping by showing interest in Inuktun’s crawlers, and they were impressed they are made in Canada,” said Tarant.

Stella Ambler, the federal Conservative candidate for Mississauga-Lakeshore was given a demonstration by Tarant after providing opening remarks.

SNC-Lavalin engineers “stopped abruptly” when spotting Inuktun’s magnetic NanoMag™ crawling on a makeshift metal wall, according to Tarant. Their interest was further piqued when he demonstrated the MicroMag’s capabilities.

“Several were interested in the underwater capabilities of the MicroMag™ for inspecting the Calandria water tank,” said Tarant.

Inuktun’s Spectrum 120™ camera impressed visitors with its 36:1 optical zoom capability, clear imaging, and self-contained high-intensity LED lighting.
