Take a look at Quest Integrity's MaggHD™ with standard pole skids.
We’ve all heard the phrase “seeing is believing”; in the realm of Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) systems, it’s especially relevant. Not only do engineers and technicians need to see inspection results to evaluate the condition of their infrastructure, they also need to see the tools that can be used to perform those inspections, to ensure they will do the job. And that’s why Quest Integrity, an authorized Inuktun reseller in the USA, recently purchased two new OnSite miniature magnetic crawlers. By adding NanoMag™ and MaggHD™ crawler systems to their fleet, Quest has not only expanded their inspection service capability, but they are also now demonstrating Inuktun’s Multi-Mission Modular (IM3) technology to new and existing customers.
Originally designed for inspecting the top of PWR nuclear reactors, the NanoMag™ is extremely small and maneuverable. Incorporating a Spectrum 45™ pan and tilt camera on the front, and a rear facing Crystal Cam® camera, this miniature vehicle can access some of the most challenging confined spaces.
The larger MaggHD™, one of the most recent Inuktun magnetic crawler systems, includes a continuous tilt, 1080p HD zoom camera head with built-in LED lights and optional laser lines. When used with an extendable pole system as shown here, the MaggHD™ system also operates a standalone high definition zoom camera, ideal for inspecting in fuel pools, storage tanks or pressure vessels.
