TotalDECOM 2017, the fourth annual event for the decommissioning industries held at The Point, Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester, United Kingdom, was a highly informative and prosperous event according to Inuktun Europe’s Director, Brian Storie. TotalDECOM brings together the latest technologies and thought leaders from the oil and gas, nuclear, defense and waste management industries.
From March 27 to March 29 Inuktun Europe displayed our proprietary Multi-Mission Modular (IM3) technology at stand 23, showcasing the Versatrax 50™, along with the MaggHD™ miniature magnetic crawler and Inuktun’s new long distance pipe inspection crawler, the Versatrax 150™ Mark II.
Just released in November 2016, the Versatrax 50™ is a remotely operated crawler capable of inspecting pipes as small as 50 millimetres (2in) in diameter; based on the new Picotrac™ transport modules and the Crystal Cam® Onyx camera, the Versatrax 50™ raises the bar for confined space entry and inspection.
The Manchester event attracted over 250 high profile decommissioning industry leaders interested in invaluable solutions and cost benefits geared towards their specific business sector. The TotalDECOM exhibition and conference provided a great opportunity to meet potential new partners and also catch up with existing clients Nuvia, ATAM Group and Sonomatic.
