Last week we gave readers a sneak peek of Inuktun’s Versatrax 300™ cargo trailer, and now we reveal the fully loaded version. The trailer has been outfitted with an office workstation pre-loaded with ICON (Inuktun Controller Software) and InPRO (Inuktun Playback and Report Generation Software) on dual monitors, a powered winch with over 2,000 metres of tether, and of course the Versatrax 300™ pipe inspection vehicle itself.
Did you notice the pontoons on the Versatrax 300™ crawler? The long ranger was recently hired by Pipe Eye Video Inspection & Services to perform a local pipe inspection in Departure Bay at Nanaimo. Pipe Eye Video has been using Inuktun’s Multi-Mission Modular (IM3) technology since it first started inspecting sewer and water pipes in 1995 with the Versatrax 150™. Owner and operator, Ken Peligren, says it would have been impossible to complete a number of complicated jobs without this equipment. Read more here.
