The world’s most visited country, France, recently became headquarters to Inuktun Europe’s Business Development Manager, Julien Massé. Fluent in both French and English, and able to offer local, in-country presentations and demonstrations, Massé proffers Inuktun’s Multi-Mission Modular (IM3) technology from Belfort, home of Alstom and General Electric in Eastern France.
Inuktun Europe Ltd., headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, has been supplying robotic crawlers and camera systems to the oil & gas and nuclear industries in the UK and other parts of Europe since 2009. Exhibiting at the World Nuclear Exhibition in Paris in 2014, the team was overwhelmed by the interest in its range of crawlers and cameras. Julien Massé, a French national who spent the past decade in Scotland, is now responsible for European sales and customer service in France; in order to keep growing and diversifying, a geographical expansion became inevitable, and France was the best possible destination.
The team was encouraged by the number of enquiries they received for the Inuktun product line, unique in continental Europe and perfectly suited for inspections in confined or dangerous areas. Our IM3 technology differentiates from other similar systems and fits perfectly in areas where all sectors of the energy industry are present. France has it all: nuclear, oil & gas, hydroelectric, shipping and shipbuilding, and wind. It has a thriving energy industry with exciting new developments (EPRs, ITER), aging assets and subsequently numerous upcoming decommissioning projects. Inuktun looks forward to directly serving the remote inspection and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) needs in this region.
