Inuktun Sighting #81: Camera on (skate) Board

Today’s #InuktunInTheWild sighting rolls in straight from Southwest Exploration Services, LLC, a borehole geophysics and video service provider based in Arizona, USA. President Kevin Mitchell provided this photo of their Multi-Mission Modular (IM3) technology adapted to take a ride on a skateboard. According to Kevin, this ad-hoc system worked perfectly, going down the pipe and back without a problem!

Move over Tony Hawk, there’s some new competition on the horizon.

Inuktun’s robotic cameras can be spotted performing remote visual inspections in the most confined and uninviting environments across endless industries. Proven technology from our OnSite Standard Product line, our Spectrum™ cameras can penetrate access points as small as 45 millimetres (1.75in) and include options for high definition 1080p resolution for when the details matter. Available as standalone systems or as part of an Inuktun robotic crawler, our Spectrum™ cameras provide reliable and repeatable data collection from areas that are inaccessible or unsafe for human intervention.
