Inuktun Sighting #133: OnDemand Product Training

When your application demands a little more specialization, look to Inuktun’s OnDemand product line. Whether it’s extra distance, custom sensor integration, or any aspect of remote inspection or tooling, these advanced systems get you where you need to go, with the tools to do what you need to do.

Taking advantage of Inuktun’s short-term rental solutions, Turner Specialty Systems recently rented the Versatrax 150™ Mark II long range crawler system for a 4,000-foot (or 1,219 metre) pipeline in Louisiana; InCommand Robotics’ service technician, Erion Haderi, provided onsite training, as seen in today’s #InuktunInTheWild sighting. While IM3™ technology is generally plug-and-play, our global service departments are dedicated to ensuring that inspectors get the most out of their Inuktun inspection camera and crawler systems.

Expanding on the original Versatrax 150™, the Mark II is available for rent or purchase with up to 3,300 feet (or 1,000 metres) of copper tether cable and can operate in pipes as small as six inches (or 150 millimetres). The Mark II can carry sonar, retrieval tools, laser profilers and NDT sensors and features a remotely operated camera/sensor raise motor, so highly detailed inspections are achievable in even the most challenging pipelines, culverts and ducting; inspectors can collect the precise data required for client reports to guide business operation decisions. And with product training included with every purchase or rental of these sophisticated inspection robots, time and budget efficiencies come naturally.
