Inuktun Sighting #134: Driving Solutions with IM3™ Technology

Spotted! Inuktun’s Minitracs™ drive OEM client’s laser profiler.

Long time customer Laser Techniques Company develops automated, high resolution laser-beamed measurement and inspection systems that employ Inuktun’s Minitrac™ and Microtrac™ crawler units. Their tracks were modified to provide more precision and slower drive speeds, and according to founder and president, James Doyle, “The modifications were completed in short order. I believe Inuktun had a working unit within a few weeks…We are very happy with them.” Read more here.

Laser Techniques’ BEMIS Laser Scanner can be seen working in this video.

Companies that build their own remotely operated inspection systems or robotic tools don’t always have the time or resources to design everything from the ground up. For imaging or sensor delivery projects, Inuktun offers OEM clients a range of camera and crawler components that are easily integrated into their systems.

What’s behind our proven IM3™ (Inuktun Multi-Mission Modular) technology? The ability to access confined spaces, the capacity to go far and deep; design, prototyping and production personnel collaborating in the same facility; the option to integrate other technologies, technical problem solving, and the timely completion of custom systems. Give us your best definition of the problem, and we’ll provide you with the best solution.

When you see Inuktun’s inspection camera and crawler systems working hard in the field or hanging out at the office, send your #InuktunInTheWild sighting to the editor and it may end up on our blog!
