The solution for reducing the costs and risks associated with confined space entry (CSE) is here! Introducing STIK™: Inuktun’s Spectrum Tank Inspection Kit – a turnkey remote visual inspection (RVI) system for integrity assessment of tanks, pressure vessels, rail cars, and more.
There is a growing requirement for reliable, repeatable and actionable tank inspections, and STIK™ is the portable, convenient and efficient tool that every inspector needs to know about. Easy to setup and operate, the STIK™ maximizes IM3™ (Inuktun Multi-Mission Modular) technology to provide a powerful solution for all types of tank inspections. And it is truly a turnkey system - all the necessary tools and components are included, allowing you to complete inspections safely, reliably, quickly and on budget.
The STIK™ comes standard with a Spectrum 120HD™ high definition pan, tilt and zoom inspection camera with integrated lights and laser lines, a portable mini reel with 100 meters (330 feet) of tether, a lightweight pole with camera mount and extension sections, a specially designed universal hatch mount, and a PC based portable controller in a rugged industrial case with control and reporting software. For a typical inspection, the camera mounts to an adjustable pole that gets attached to the hatch mount assembly for deployment into the tank. The hatch mount can be easily adjusted to fit a wide range of openings, while the pole offers a long vertical reach to cover a variety of tank configurations. Furthermore, the STIK™ utilizes Inuktun’s proprietary ICON Suite software which offers intuitive control, automated inspections, and post-process reporting of the high-quality data collected.
Typical applications include railway tank car inspection, underground services inspection, and remote visual inspection (RVI) of other tanks or pipelines with a vertical manhole access. And, as with all Inuktun equipment, the IM3™ technology means you can simply disconnect the Spectrum 120HD™ PTZ and attach it to a crawler or drop system for other applications as required.
The STIK™ will be on interactive display at our first QUILL (Quarterly Inuktun Lunch and Learn) session taking place late April at our Pasadena, Texas office; request an invitation to our exclusive event here. Not in your area? Contact us to learn how to get your hands on the STIK™ today!
