Today’s #InuktunInTheWild sighting features Inuktun’s newest OnSite standard product, the STIK™: Spectrum Tank Inspection Kit. Spotted at Inuktun InCommand Robotics’ first QUILL (Quarterly Inuktun Lunch & Learn) session, the STIK™ was used to demonstrate our latest HD tank inspection capabilities to key players in the local petrochemical industry.
According to Inuktun InCommand Robotics’ Vice President of Operations, Wes Kirkland, “The first QUILL session was a huge success. Our customer base got the opportunity to see our new Spectrum Tank Inspection Kit live in action inside our demo tank. We are looking forward to the next QUILL session showcasing our long-range pipe inspection equipment.”
Offered as a turnkey system, the STIK™ is the portable, convenient and efficient solution for remote visual inspection of tanks, pressure vessels, rail cars and more. A Spectrum 120HD™ high definition pan, tilt and zoom inspection camera is mounted to a lightweight pole with camera mount and extension sections along with a specially designed universal hatch mount. Operated with a PC based portable control system and proprietary software for post-process reporting, the STIK™ puts operators in full control of automated inspections. All the QUILL participants expressed strong interest in the standard STIK™ capabilities and discussed options for exploiting Inuktun’s Multi-Mission Modular (IM3™) technology to expand its use in other areas.
