This week’s #InuktunInTheWild sighting is courtesy of industry leader, The Dow Chemical Company. Dow recently released this article featuring two video clips that showcase IM3™ (Inuktun Multi-Mission Modular) technology in action, including the Inuktun originated Crystal Cam® Delta Extreme crawler and VideoRay UROV.
Dow employs Inuktun’s robotic crawler and camera systems to make working at its international factories safer by reducing confined space entries (CSEs) and preventing humans from entering hazardous environments. This is a direct result of the company’s new safety requirements to eliminate CSEs by 2025.
According to the article, what was formerly known as the VGTV (Variable Geometry Tracked Vehicle) and now the Delta Extreme by Crystal Cam Imaging Inc., is called Brutus by Dow employees.
Our friends at BP calls their MaggHD™ miniature magnetic crawler, Maggie. What does your team call your Inuktun workhorse? Whatever the name, IM3™ technology continues to provide proven data collection results to the biggest industrial names worldwide. Contact our technical sales team to learn more today.
