One of the great advantages for Inuktun clients is dealing directly with a vendor who is willing to listen and create bespoke solutions to unique problems that fall “outside the box”.
One such client, a European nuclear operator that regularly uses their Spectrum 45™ pan and tilt inspection camera, recently purchased an optional camera pole to further extend their viewing capabilities — but they had a request. Could the carbon fibre pole be fitted with a monitor so the operator could better manipulate the camera?
Our IM3™ (Inuktun Multi-Mission Modular) technology obliged an easy modification to fulfill their request. Inuktun's standard monitor was adapted with a simple mount to satisfy the request, with video being fed from an existing spare video output.
A relatively inexpensive accessory for your remote visual inspection (RVI) equipment pool, Inuktun’s camera poles are ideal for inspections that are otherwise just out of reach — putting control directly in an inspector’s hands. The addition of a monitor like the resulting product shown here is an easy solution that improves the utility of pole camera inspections.
Used to assess confined spaces, pools, tanks and other nuclear plant infrastructure, Inuktun’s Spectrum™ inspection cameras provide repeatable and meaningful data to determine remaining useful asset life and maintenance requirements while preventing human and environmental risks.
Custom client requests have resulted in a lot of what is Inuktun’s OnSite Standard Product line today. What will we create together to help you transform the future?
