Inuktun Sighting #154: Efficiency Gains with IM3™ Technology Product Training

This week’s #InuktunInTheWild sighting comes from a recent onsite product training session that took place at Dow Chemical Canada’s petrochemical plant in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Inuktun offers personalized training to clients interested in operational best practices for IM3™ (Inuktun Multi-Mission Modular) technology. Just recently, we performed some similar product training for SNC-Lavalin engineers – see their comments here.

Inuktun’s Versatrax 100™ Mark II with Spectrum 90™ PTZ camera and ultrasonic testing (UT) probe and Spectrum 120HD™ high definition inspection camera with pole deployment are part of Dow Chemical Canada’s robotic inspection toolkit. These solutions offer detailed remote visual inspection and nondestructive testing for the capital infrastructure found onsite including tanks, pressure vessels, pipelines and more. NDT expert inspectors who attended this product training session described the products as very user friendly. Using a familiar Xbox controller, running the camera and robots, and operating the ICON™ software is intuitive; video recording of real-time conditions is incredibly simple, providing cost and productivity efficiencies. Plus, the operational training provides hands-on experience with the systems, minimizing the risk to both personnel and equipment when performing real-life inspections in-situ.

Inuktun offers onsite product training for all its products – including rentals or equipment purchases. Contact our friendly and knowledgeable team to learn more today, and don’t forget to submit your own #InuktunInTheWild sightings to be featured on our blog, on TRACK!
