You may recall a previous #InuktunInTheWild sighting featuring Inuktun Minitracs™ on an OEM robotic crawler for nuclear operations, and we’re happy to share an update in this week’s blog. Promation Nuclear, a leading supplier of automated robotic solutions reports that they can now operate the Inuktun Minitrac™ crawler tracks and the Yaskawa MotoMini robot together with VR (virtual reality) control. Talk about next level! The current application focus for this robotic crawler system includes retrieval of hot particles like a dropped garter spring or vacuuming highly contaminated areas.

Eddyfi Technologies’ robotic crawler inspection systems perform the work where others can’t. Check out this recent blog on nuclear reactor primary piping inspection with Inuktun robots. Beyond the nuclear industry, our robotic crawler and inspection camera systems are commonly spotted in the oil and gas, petrochemical, mining and marine sectors to name a few. With typical functions like pipe inspection, tank examination, pressure vessel assessment, subsea analysis, and more – our modular robots are proven to work reliably across a myriad of real-world applications.
